BalaBadi – I :
Course Description:
BalaBadi is a 2-year program that introduces Telugu language to children under the age of 6 through games, nursery rhymes, and picture identification. Children can join at any time during the first year of BalaBadi. BalaBadi-1 is a prerequisite for BalaBadi-2.
Course Objectives:
- Expose children to Telugu language at an early age through music and play,
- Introduce small, frequently used words, speak short sentences, read fun stories, sing songs, and play fun games

BalaBadi – I:
Age: 4 to 6 Years
Prerequisite: None

Pravesam :
Course Description:
Pravesam is the entry level course of the 5-year program, which introduces the Telugu alphabet and develops conversation skills through simple sentences and vocabulary.
Course Objectives:
- Grammar and Vocabulary:
- Develop vocabulary words used in everyday conversations,
- Writing and Reading Comprehension:
- Read and write alphabet and simple words,
- Identify and write spoken words.
- Spoken Communication:
- Engage in simple conversations to share their opinions, likes, dislikes, feelings, and emotions,
- Use vocabulary in conversations,
- Demonstrate differences in sentence constructs based on gender, person, and verb tenses.

Pravesam:
Age: 6+ Years
Prerequisite: None

Prasunam :
Course Description:
Prasunam is the second level of a 5-year program that builds upon skills acquired in Pravesam. Students expand their comprehension skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking Telugu language. They progress to study word construction, sentence construction and early grammar concepts. Students focus on understanding and interpreting written and spoken language on various topics surrounding everyday life.

- Read and write alphabet and simple words,
- Identify and write spoken words
- Expand vocabulary
- Writing and Reading Comprehension:
- Write complete sentences using simple words,
- Read and understand stories.
- Spoken Communication:
- Construct grammatically correct sentences,
- Use acquired vocabulary skills in the conversations,
- Understand differences in sentence construction based on gender, person, and verb tense

Prasunam:
Age: 7+ Years
Prerequisite: Pravesam
Class Commitment: 2 hour/week

Prakasam :
Course Description:
Prakasam is the third level of a 5-year program that builds on Prasuman. Students will expand their comprehension skills in reading, begin writing grammatically correct sentences, and improve their listening and speaking skills. They progress from using memorized language to creating original conversational and written exchanges. This level concludes with a final exam conducted by the officials from Sri Potti Sriramulu Telugu University. Upon passing the exam, students receive university credits and an official transcript reflecting their accomplishment.

- Expand vocabulary relevant to various areas in life.
- Writing and Reading Comprehension:
- Independently read and comprehend simple stories and essays,
- Write complete sentences using simple words

- Interpret and understand ideas through sentence practice,
- Vocalize comprehension of ideas.

Prakasam:
Age: 8+ Years
Prerequisite: Prasunam
Class Commitment: 2 hour/week

*The final exam for this course is conducted by Potti Sriramulu Telugu University.
Students receive 16 PST University credits and an official transcript from the university for their effort.
Pramodam :
Course Description:
Pramodam is the fourth level of a 5-year program that builds on skills acquired in Prakasam. Registration for this level is contingent upon passing the Pravesam PSTU final exam. Students learn advanced vocabulary, delve into analytical grammar, and expand their oral and written skills. Students gain exposure to advanced reading material, write logically reasoned paragraphs, improve listening skills, and hold meaningful conversations with native speakers.

- Write simple essays and letters using complex sentences,
- Read and comprehend simpler poetry and prose.

Pramodam:
Age: 9+ Years
Prerequisite: Prakasam. Students must have passed the PSTU final exam the previous year to register.

Prabhasam :
Course Description:
Prabhasam is the final level of a 5-year program that builds on skills acquired in Pramodam. Students advance their vocabulary and sentence structures to expand comprehension skills of advanced reading material, write complex sentences, and improve their listening and speaking skills. Students are introduced to mythological and contemporary prose and poetry. The final exam, conducted by the officials from Sri Potti Sriramulu Telugu University, concludes a formal Telugu education. Upon passing this exam, students receive 16 university credits and an official transcript recording their accomplishments.

- Develop vocabulary words used in everyday conversations,
- Advanced grammar education through prose and poetry
- Writing and Reading Comprehension:
- Write essays, summaries, and book reviews,
- Write letters, stories, plays, contextual dialogs, and poetry,
- Develop Telugu typing skills.
- Spoken Communication:
- express thoughts and converse fluently in a variety of settings,
- make speeches, and participate in debates

Prabhasam:
Age: 9+ Years
Prerequisite: Pramodam. Students must have passed the PSTU final exam the previous year to register.
Class information: 2 hour/week
Annual Price: $ 375 Course Fee + $ 30 PSTU Exam Fee
*The final exam for this course is conducted by Potti Sriramulu Telugu University.
Students receive the final 16 PST University credits (total of 32 college credits) and an official transcript from the university for their effort.
